Sin City

Sin City is a movie you will not soon forget. This movie based on the comic book series is one of a kind. The original script and special effects will excite you from intro to end titling.

The movie is directed by Frank Miller, known from RoboCop 2, RoboCop 3 and Daredevil. It’s co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and legend Quentin Tarantino.
There is not only a great pack of directors, the cast is outstanding. Some of the best actors were recruited for playing in this film. “Die Hard” actor Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Clive Owen, Elijah Wood who played Frodo in Lord of the Rings, Michael Clracke Duncan, Brittany Murphy and one of my favourite actors: Benicio Del Toro.

If even the cast and the directors don’t impress you there is even more. Sin City is totally different from other films. It is totally filmed in black and white, but sometimes they left some parts in colour to accentuate it. You get even more sucked into the comic atmosphere of the film by the text balloons and the graphical interfaces. These effects are all supported by a solid script and fantastic camerawork.

If you are planning to go to the movies, you should definitely see Sin City. It’s the best movie I’ve seen in the last 6 months and one of the best all times. So don’t hesitate and invest your money into the best that the theatres can offer you.

Trailers

Edit:

There are already plans for 2 sequels of this movie. Sin City 2 is already in pre-production and will be released in theatres in 2006. For the 3rd movie we must wait until 2008.
